Featured in Washingtonian Bride & Groom

I cannot believe it is already November! Before this fall completely gets away from me, I wanted to share how absolutely thrilled I am to have three of my clients’ weddings featured in the Summer/Fall 2015 issue of Washingtonian Bride & Groom.

I had the privilege of working with Janice Carnevale from Bellwether Events and Claudia Smith from Fig. 2 Design on paper details for Alice and John’s May 2014 wedding at Rockwood Manor in Potomac, Maryland, as well as collaborating with Tabitha Roberts from Roberts & Co. Events to create custom hand-lettered wood tag escort cards for Jordan and Folasope’s September 2014 wedding at Potomac View Terrace in Washington, D.C. and collaborating with Rachel Merkle from Miss Merkle Design on everything from the custom invitations to a myriad of Day Of loveliness for Lee and Jonathan’s September 2014 wedding at Meridian House in Washington, D.C. I cannot overstate what an honor it is every time a client entrusts me with the paper (and chalkboard and mirror and window and wood and… I’ve written on just about everything at this point!) details for their celebrations. I take my work extremely seriously and try to give my very best with every project.

I am also ever thankful for the opportunities I have to work with so many amazing creative partners, both event designers and paper pros. To have some of those collaborations featured by Washingtonian Bride & Groom is the icing on the (wedding) cake! And to that end, I also want to say thank you to my fellow DC event professionals for making Meant To Be Calligraphy a “Top Vote Getter” in the magazine’s 2015 list of top wedding professionals. This is our second year receiving that designation and we could not be more honored to have that literal and figurative vote of confidence from our colleagues! Thank you!!
