New Year, New Workshops!

MEANT TO BE CALLIGRAPHY

MEANT TO BE CALLIGRAPHY

Hooray! We’ve opened registration for our early-2017 workshops and we are so excited to announce a new class offering: Introduction to Modern Brush Lettering! in addition to our signature calligraphy workshop, Introduction to Contemporary Pointed Pen Calligraphy, we are now unveiling a brand new comprehensive workshop called Introduction to Modern Brush Lettering!

Even better, we will be offering both our calligraphy workshops AND our brush lettering workshops at all of the locations where we teach: Washington, D.C. (at The Lemon Bowl in Park View, The Embassy Row Hotel in Dupont Circle and, for the first time ever, at Typecase Industries in Shaw), Baltimore (at Becket Hitch), Middleburg (at the Middleburg Events Studio), Charlottesville (at Rock Paper Scissors), Falls Church (at Stylish Patina’s Rough Luxe Warehouse) and Alexandria (at the Morrison House).

Past students! We will be offering Continuing with Contemporary Pointed Pen Calligraphy again this March and we would absolutely love to see you again! And also be sure to take a look at our latest Calligraphy Study Table offerings. This month’s session on tips for envelope addressing was so fun that we’ve decided to offer it again in January, just in time to help you pretty up your valentines! And in February we’ll work on tricky connections between letters.

We hope that you will be able to join us for a modern pointed pen calligraphy workshop or a modern brush lettering workshop (or both!). As always, we’ll be keeping the class size super small to allow for plenty of individual attention and instruction, so if you are interested in taking part this winter (or in gifting a class to someone else – a spot in our workshops is the perfect birthday, anniversary or holiday gift!), please don’t wait too long to secure your spot. You can find ALL of the details and register here.
